WOW!

I was probably eight or nine years old. I remember going to my school library and reading books about how humans would be in space and living in colonies in other planets by the year 2000. That was so far away! It seemed like an ureachable dream; something that fascinated me and, being a child, made me dream about what it would be like to live in that age.
I now realize that back then I had never imagined myself as an adult. I never thought where I would be or what would I do. I vagely remember thinking that perhaps by the year 2000 my grandchildren would be living in one of those space stations. I suppose I knew how to add, but adding up years was not my concern, the year 2000 was just too far away.

Virgin Galactic, a subsidiary of Virgin Atlantic Airlines is already taking names, and soon will begin to take downpayments for ...gulp, tourist space travel in 2007!

Maybe those books were not so far fetched, maybe those images as a 9 year old will become a reality way before my grandchildren are born. Check out this VIDEO, It will blow your mind.
